- Loved Swing music (Glenn Milller started it, now Dorseys, Goodman, Basie etc) since I was 11 (now 48) and grew to enjoy New Orleans jazz and jazz from Dutch Swing College, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Bob Crosby.
Also the singers - Bing Crosby, Frank SInatra, etc to begin with just for their band backing, but then the style of singing too.
